Resumo


A abordagem do curso de vida considera a saúde como uma capacidade em constante evolução, que se desenvolve desde a infância até a velhice e entre gerações(1,2). Essa visão é o alicerce para o alcance das metas dos Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ODS), com ênfase no ODS 3, que trata da promoção da saúde e do bem-estar global em todas as idades(3). A saúde ao longo da vida é resultado de um conjunto complexo de determinantes sociais, gênero, equidade e direitos humanos(1,2).
